What’s so good 😊?
It’s been some years since I set foot at this no.#1 Roti Prata shop which had planted many branches across island wide.
Upon alighted pax at Tagore Industrial estate nearby, I decided to off my Grab App and head to here, as the magnetic 🧲 wave from this amazing stall too strong to resist ... 😮 🤩
Thankfully 😅, found an empty precious lot in an open space car park as lots here highly limited as it’s in the morning, many fitness enthusiasts loved to run 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ around the Seletar reservoir area ...
After 8 mins of waiting, my piping hot 🔥, freshly pan fried Roti Prata arrived ... Photo eats 1st ! 🤣
Their X-factor :
1. Spoon 🥄 the curry gravy, looking 👀 amazingly red and spicy 🌶 , sipped into mouth 👄, so tangy, relatively soothing, spiciness level at 4 out of 5, with cut brinjal and curry leaves inside the plate of curry. I had earlier specified Fish curry 🍛 and had tasted some bits of it’s fishes too ! So fragrance and tastefully done✅ ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
2. Next, plain Prata, crispy on the outside and soft, tasty dough pan fried to light brown colour, not oily; sliced up a bit more and dipped into curry gravy then mouth 👄... dripping along the motion ... 😮 🤩; Typically, I shall eat prata bite by bite first then spoon 🥄 the curry gravy to mouth 👄 and process repeated ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
3. Followed by the Sausage Prata, dissect to slice open for photo 1st, then eat; light salted taste of its sliced sausages that had been laid nicely and spread out onto the Prata spread with egg. (Possibly 1 long sausage has been used). Sausage blended well with the egg Prata indeed, something brewing inside my head for weekend makan ... 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
4. Their staff - highly productive and working as team: 3 Chefs inside the glass see through kitchen ; 2-3 serving team; Cashier counter man take order and collect payment. Polite and attentive! 🤩 ⭐️
5. I get to replenish the fish curry gravy as I literally drank it (sipped via spoon 🥄), as I brought the empty metal plate and requested for refill; no question asked and he served you in return of the same type of fish curry gravy ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️
As I completed this article and sipping my Teh C Halia Kosong ... oh yes, I dine-in the aircon area and their open air outside ideal for those runners 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ whom had completed their workout to sweat 😓 and eat 😋 and enjoying natural fresh air !
