Ordered my favourite Roasted Duck 🦆 drumstick 🍗 with rice 🍚 @ $6.50.

What’s so good 😊?

I loved coming to Chinatown as it always give me the authenticity of being a Singaporean Chinese. It’s the aromatic of great food cooked and the bustle of people enjoying their delectable food 🥘, its Q, it’s the happy faces 😃 all around U ...

After eaten my breakfast here and about to leave the hawker then I saw a short Q at this stall selling roasted duck & char siew and I had been delaying writing about roasted duck 🦆... as my 1st choice reside @ Maxwell FC but usually opens around 11:00am to 11:30am.

So, this it is ... A roasted Duck 🦆 drumstick 🍗 chopped to pieces and plated with Chye Sim vegetable (quite rare) and added their homemade dripping sauces on TOP of the duck then onto the rice.

As photo eats 1st, I can feel the light heat emitting from the duck, as I forked then using left bare hand to eat it, starting with the skin - roasted to brownish colour, crispy and silky grossly with little fat underneath, then it’s meat - so soft, warm, juices oozes out and easy to bite off, without any duckling smell, having that smokey feel ... 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍

It’s rice grain, cooked to perfection, pair well with the dripping sauces or gravy poured over it ... little sweet, soya bean blended with the roasted duck drips ... interestingly I have no craving for the usual chillies 🌶...😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍

Roasted fresh daily as it quickly sold out by late afternoon, while in the Q earlier, the lady boss reminded the customer to open up to “air” if she want to keep for dinner time, as it’s still piping warm ... that’s the testimony of Roasted fresh everyday! 🤣
