Are U Hungry đ?
@ Blk 49 Sims Place, Sims Vista Market & Food Centre. Stall : WARONG HJH KAMISAH (Halal) #01-13.
Ordered 1 bowl of Mee Soto @ $2.50.
Whatâs so good đ?
Living in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-racial has its key strength of having the best food in town in your own neighbourhood wet market & food centre.
The diversity of food connect with people from all walks of life easily and without a doubt, our Hawker centres shall thrive !
It shall be a Hawker heritage disaster not to recognise the simple fact : âFood diversity connects peopleâ, therefore itâs imperative that town planners shall plant every hawker centre with proximity with estate đĄ of critical mass size.
I live and love thy neighbours be it Indian, Malay, Eurasian etc and the diversity of food too ! It shall be encouraged and propagate throughout Singapore đ¸đŹ!
Hence, I am at Sims place after alighting pax at Geylang Lor 23, just around the corner and hopped to the market to explore great food ... đŽ 𤊠âď¸ đ
Itâs been a long long while since I had Mee Soto (Yellow Mee with shredded chicken meat w/ soup đ)
Served piping hot đĽ and as usual photo eats 1st then soup next ...
OMG ! đŽ itâs soup broth so sedap đ, flavourfully and tastefully; aromatic fragrance infused with herbs, spices and soothing, warm and relaxing đ! đŽ 𤊠âď¸ đ
Next, itâs yellow Mee cooked to perfection; garnisheed with tau gek (bean sprouts), shredded chicken meat w/ some skin on top too ! Tenderised chicken meat and easy to bite off ! Fresh shallots and spring onions and coriander leaves on top of the broth made a pretty presentation !
The noodles, shredded meat and tau gek were gone in quick time as my hunger strikes ! Leaving the aromatic soup broth which I scooped by the spoon đĽ and with residue of base at the bottom, so delectable and warm soup filled my heart â¤ď¸!
As always ... Mee Soto... Yummily đ Great đ!
PS: this stall also pride itself being the Pioneer in the Famed Satay Club of 1948 at Beach Road era ...
