What’s so good 😊?
After alighting pax at King Albert Park MRT, I decided to have a late lunch here ... surveyed for 5 mins b4 decided to go with the Fish Soup, originally with rice 🍚, then I saw 👀 the fine print : Mee Sua then coincidentally someone actually ordered it, so this is it !
Brought to the nearest table, photo eats 1st and taken a sip of the fish soup based... OMG 😳! So alluring with that oomph feel 🧐 with taste bud of either fried flat fish or cutter fish deep fried and grind to use as a soup based residue, as the fish soup likely stewed with fish bones and meat bone for its sweetness ... so amazingly soothing , fragrance-fully and tastefully great ! 😯 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
Next, it’s fish slices of Batang🐟, soft, tender and cut neatly, cooked to perfection ; freshly cut with the taste well salted and sweet ! So savoury ! Interestingly, there is no fishy smell !

It’s other oomph it’s balachan chillies 🌶 orangey colour, colourfully done ✅ and amazingly great 👍 one of those home made chillies 🌶 that always pairing with any food to have that special kick 🦵, this is definitely one of those great chillies 🌶 around ! Probably 4 out of 5 in terms of spiciness ! DIY and upsized unlimited ! 😳 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
It’s vegetable : Tang Oh, I think 🤔 typically used in Steamboat, being deployed here, blended well with the soup broth based.
It’s Mee Sua, cooked perfectly, a rare find to blend with fish soup; atypical choice but it’s really good as I had wanted something light and not too full kind of lunch ! 😳 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
I noticed the Chef 👨🍳 loves to turn on high heat whenever he cooks his pot of soup upon order received everytime, then he shall throw in the fish from his chilled bowl... to the pot !😳 🤩
Already added into my library some years ago but because the owner or assistant loves to upsell me with higher value $6 or $8, I always made the same stand ... just $5 please ! 🤣
