New York: Extensive damage caused by storm Isaias - Households still without power!!!

On Tuesday August 4, 2020, tropical storm Isaias crashed many areas of the Tri-State (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) causing extensive damage that will probably cost millions of dollars to be restored.

The storm brought heavy rainfall and very strong winds which downed wires, uprooted trees, caused transit disruption, damaged cars and properties and left more than 2 millions households without power.

Courtesy of NBC NY While hundreds of thousands of people are still in the dark (including myself), the officials claim that it might take several days for the power outages to be restored!!!
