Unless you are medically exempt, the City of Melbourne's sites and facilities will be closed to the unvaccinated from 5 November 2021 onwards.

According to a statement made by CEO Justin Hanney, all staff, contractors and visitors attending City of Melbourne operated facilities must be fully vaccinated. The sites and facilities include libraries, recreation centres, community facilities, and administration offices such as Town Hall.

This is in line with Victoria’s roadmap and to ensure the City of Melbourne is a safe and healthy place to work, and its facilities remain safe places to visit.
