Costa Rica: Ocotal Beach a quiet place to relax!

Playa Ocotal is located 3 km away from Playa del Coco. The access is very easy, no issues because the road was pretty good. There is a small parking area, but there are the park guards to help you park. Is always good to have some change so you can give them a bit at the end of your stay.

Playa Ocotal is a calm, sandy beach, about a third of a mile long; it's ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and other outdoor activities. It's also a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We loved the calm and clear waters, it was perfect for a day to snorkel. We brought our beach chair, found a shade and had a perfect and relaxing day. We recommend you bring your snorkeling gear so you can enjoy the clear waters.

If you have a dog, you can go with your dog and enjoy your day. Many of them were having lots of fun.

There are no public toilets, so we recommend you to be prepared for it, and if you want to take a shower bring your own water in a bottle to clean the sand after swimming.

You have to bring your water and food, because there are no supermarkets or minimarkets close by.

There is only one restaurant in front of the beach, but when we came it was close due to COVID-19. Check it out http://www.fatherrooster.com/ This restaurant has good reviews and looks very nice.

You find several lodging options in this area which is perfect, because it's an amazing beach to have it in front or close by to enjoy every morning.
