Teacher's Day Special: Another Brick In The Wall - Pink Floyd

Beverly Grafton

It's Teacher's Day this coming Thursday and I'm celebrating it the best way I know how - with a killer playlist for all the teachers in your heart. Be they good, bad or ugly, there's a song for them and here's the best song to honor the ones we love to hate. Hah!

Turns out, the controversial song, Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2), was the only number one hit for Pink Floyd in the UK and US. But the impact the song left on the world is still felt very strongly in today's youth. It was actually written as a three part composition for Pink Floyd's rock opera, The Wall, by bassist Roger Waters.

If you're like me and want to stick it to the abusive teachers you've suffered during your school years, have a quick listen, leave a like or comment and share the most horrifying experiences you've had to suffer at their hands. What a great way to end Monday, eh?
