Destination Revisited

The Sydney Central Business District (CBD) is the main commercial centre of Sydney. It is one of the oldest established areas in the country. The Sydney City is Australia's main financial and economic centre, as well as a leading hub of economic activity for the Asia-Pacific region. The city centre encompasses the area from Circular Quay, near the Sydney Opera House, through the central business district south to Chinatown and Haymarket, and west to Darling Harbour. On the eastern side there is the Royal Botanic Garden, the Art Gallery of NSW, the Australian Museum and Hyde Park. There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, bars as well as attractions such as museums, art galleries, shopping malls and plazas.
