Chinatown Sydney is Australia’s largest and one of the most vibrant. It is a thriving, exciting Asian marketplace which incorporates everything from fine dining restaurants to noodle bars hidden in food halls and buzzing Asian grocers. Chinatown really comes into its own during the spectacular Lunar New Year celebrations. The shopping is fabulous, with malls, markets and arcades plus some of the best Asian supermarkets in Sydney. Shoppers flock to the famous Paddy’s Markets, which dates back to colonial times.
