"Saint Petersburg resembles a puzzle box. You can open the box, admire the patterns, touch the jewelry. But if someone tells you that the box has a double bottom, you will be surprised that the most interesting thing is hidden from the eyes of a philistine. This secret courtyard is my favorite. Located just two-minute walk from the Central point of Nevsky Prospekt, it is so well hidden that even the locals don't know about it. St. Petersburg is filled with such places, roofs, tiny ancient theaters, museum-apartments, bars and restaurants, stories and legends".
