Hong Kong: Dorsett Kwun Tong, Kowloon East

Destination Revisited
I miss travel, Hong Kong and my room at Dorsett Kwun Tong when visiting Kowloon East.
It is a reasonably priced deluxe room with excellent views of the water and elegantly designed with touches of bronze glitter, glass and mirrors. For a city where floor area comes at a premium, my room is spacious enough to allow for a writing desk, chair and luggage rack.

Everything I need for a comfortable stay is available including complimentary in-room tea and coffee, bedroom slippers, sizable wardrobe, queen-sized bed and the luxuries of a standing shower with handheld and rain faucet, strong water pressure and handheld hair dryer. There's also the in-room smart phone with free IDD calls to selected countries, local calls and 4G mobile Internet access.

Service throughout the hotel is also friendly and helpful including front office and the level 3 business center. I miss having breakfast in a hotel restaurant that remembers my preference of sunnyside eggs every morning without fail.
