Destination Revisited Series

Ever been inspired by street art? Think they have a story to tell? Parramatta by Foot takes you on a stroll along the streets of Western Sydney where you can appreciate outdoor public art.

An initiative of City of Parramatta Council, you can find Nadia Odlum’s ‘I’ll Meet You Here Again’ in the Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library forecourt. Penelope Cain’s ‘Gondwana Forest Footfall’ explores the strong connection between Australia and India outside the Harris Park shops on Wigram Street, the home of Indian food in Western Sydney. Kalanjay Dhir’s ‘Immersion: Granville Patch’ is viewable on Bridge Street near Granville Train Station.

You can also find First Nations artists Leanne Tobin (Darug) and Jason Wing (Biripi) and their collaborative painting ‘Magari – to fish’ on the Parramatta River bike path near Eric Primrose Reserve.

The street art will be on display until September 20, 2020.
